Herbal Roots is a raw blend of Shikakai, Aloe, Brahmi, Bhringraj, & Methi seeds to repair damage, prevent breakage, nourish the cortex & stimulate growth. These herbs are then combined with organic neem oil, hemp seed oil and castor oil to seal moisture, provide slip and create incredible shine. Herbal Roots is suitable for all hair types and can be used as a natural hair tea or treatment mask. 

Shikakai | Herbal beauty ingredient long revered in Ayurvedic cosmetics, shikakai is renowned for its ability to stimulate growth and prevent breakage. By fortifying the hair cortex and stimulating the scalp, Shikakai allows us to produce healthy new growth while also nourishing dry, damaged ends. 

Bhringraj | wonderful Ayurvedic herb rich in Iron, Vitamin E, magnesium and polypeptides. Bhringraj is used for a series of issues relating to hair loss. Used extensively for its ability to promote new growth, Bhringraj softens and strengthens the hair to reveal a lustrous texture. 

Neem oil | Prized Ayurvedic oil, neem allows the infused shikakai & bhringraj to deeply penetrate the scalp. Neem oil is a must have for maintaining scalp health and is used to treat both lice and scalp infections. Naturally rich in limonoids, vitamin E, triglycerides, and antioxidants, neem oil is a great additive to any natural hair-care routine.

Like many of our products Herbal Roots contains dry ingredients that are activated by water. Dry ingredients optimize your skin-care experience by (1) not requiring the addition of synthetic preservatives, (2) allowing you to curate a fresh preparation with each use and (3) allowing us to package more of our raw ingredients into our containers so you can enjoy your products longer!  

8oz glass jar with dry powdered herbs. Store in cool dry area. Discard if introduced to moisture. 1 year shelf life upon delivery.

Add 1/2 cup of Herbal Roots to a separate bowl. slowly add hot water over the powder and stir until a cream is formed. Cover this mixture and allow it to sit for 5 minutes. On clean/detangled hair (wet or dry) section the hair off and begin applying the cream generously onto the hair from scalp to end. Allow  Herbal Roots to sit as a treatment for 20 minutes. Rinse your hair thoroughly with warm water. Excess grains may remain in the hair if not thoroughly rinsed/washed out.

Ashe (Ase) is the Yoruba philosophy by which we may conceive, change and command our environment. Ashe flows through all forms of life and exists to produce authority and power within us.

Sometimes used as a greeting, word of endearment or a form of agreement, Ashe is the power to manifest change. Every human, spirit, animal and river is sustained by Ashe. It is the foundation for life and creativity and is the essential life force behind all things. Our Founder 

Ashe Vibes was founded by Leah Santos, an afro-indigenous young woman born in Fort Lauderdale Florida who is passionate about holistic self-care.

With a special concentration in herbal healing, energy work and natural beauty, she is passionate about sharing these skills to help womxn of all walks of life heal, reconnect and thrive.  

Leah received a B.A in sociology from FAU and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Oriental Medicine.
